Final Cut With ident
Issues with this cut:
Some camera recorded audio has been left in the edit causing sound problems.
The film title is not on screen for long enough.
Following feedback from other media students and my teacher, I feel that the film ending is still a little ambiguous, so I have decided to simplify the sequence in a way that suggests to the viewer that the protagonist is about to kill the antagonist in the graveyard
I have decided to redo some of my titles so that they fit better with industry conventions.

My Ident
- This is my ident for Scaife Studios. I decided to use a cake because it brings the audience's eyes to the centre of the screen. Other idents such as version at the beginning of Heathers also is round and int he centre.
- The look of my ident has a retro theme. I used a retro theme because it was based on the retro theme of Heathers
- I also used the retro theme and music because i feel that the ident should represent me, i like cake and i like retro films such as heathers and the breakfast club

My Ident research
A TV ident is the little bit of video that plays a few seconds before a programme starts, informing the viewer of which channel they're watching. A promotional sequence, it's a critical part of a TV stations brand identity.
This is an example from Cartoon Network. Cartoon Network is a channel that shows cartoons and children's TV shows. This ident shows the classic CN cubes starting to slowly tear apart then spread up, this builds suspense and brings the watcher in. The black and white is contrasting. The then pink background helps us connote the children's showings. Pink is a fun bright colour.
This is Astros ident. It gives a horror feel to it. This is the effect i want to give in my ident, due to mine and Niamhs film being a dark comedy. The black background with the white words, give the impression of a serious production. The flashing blurring out the words into the other gives me inspiration to use fog or smoke over powering the words fading them out. Giving a sense of mystery.
